So I topped two plants (Mango Kush and White Widow) today (going to mainline) and noticed something odd..
The Mango has nice green, full stalks (no purple whatsoever).
The White Widow has a hollow stalk and rather purple stems/branches.
What's causing the purple on the widow? And is it related to the hollow stalk?
I've read a ton of articles suggesting hollow is fine.. it's actually a really good thing! And that a full stem means there's salt build up, like my Mango (seen below). However, surely the purple isn't OK?
Both plants are receiving the exact same feeding solution and in the same tent with same conditions and are the exact same age. Different strains, obviously.
