Purple?Not purple?

My dealer who sells only A+ med weed always gets purple strains of weed which is great. Sometimes its covered in purple, other times its green with a shitload of hairs and crystals.my question is can the nugs not be purple, but its still a strain of purple marijuana?either way, the shit gets you more then fucked up.yyyyyay.

yeah I'm pretty sure you can have a purple strain that doesn't look too purple. Usually it's more purple on the plant itself, but if you see no purple, I don't know about that.

it can also look so purple that it just looks like a dark dark green

Purple can be genetic or temperature induced. In most plants, if the temps are lowered they will purple. The purpling by temp is mostly in the leaf, somtimes bud. Genetic will mostly be in the bud.
