Quick question: Will this light suffice? - pics, details - Thanks!

I'm planning my first grow; a small closet project with just a couple plants (purple kush, fem, auto).
I already have a couple large lamps that I use for photography, so I figure I may as well use those. Now, forgive my ignorance, but is it correct that 5,000K lamps are best for the vegetation stage, and 2,700K for flowering?

Here's what I have currently (two of these):
Light type: CFL
Wattage: 55
Temp: 5,000K (2,700K is on the way)

Any thoughts?

So you're saying I should use a 6,500k in addition to the 5,000?

Yes, if it's in your budget. If not, the 5000k will work. The higher 6500 kelvin promotes branching and growth. The plant will like the blue light.

Ok, major lighting upgrade:

Will be using 2x500 watt, 6,500K Metal Halides for vegetation, and a single 1,000 watt 2,000K High pressure Sodium light with a high quality ballast, double parabolic shade. I'm also increasing the dimensions of the box to 8'x4'x6'. How does that sound? I'll update when I recieve the parts, and detial the building process (with photos). Thanks for your advice guys, I feel like I'm starting to understand the right way to grow, little by little
