Reveg to a mother plant?

So I,m about ready to harvest this run of blue dream, I thought about trying to reveg one of the girls after the chop so that I could take some clones from here. These girls have grown amazingly. Has anybody attempted this ? If so, while it work, and what are the drawbacks ?

The drawback is that it takes a really long time to get it back to the veg state and to grow back up again. But if it's your only option, do what you gotta do.

Make sure you leave some of the buds on there. If your strip it down you'll have nothing to reveg

I re-vegged a Northern Lights once, just didn't have room so I put her outside cause I just couldn't kill her. Funny looking thing with all the buds on the bottom with new vegetation growing out the top. So it does work takes a couple of weeks, but it works, Peyton is right though you have to sacrifice some buds.

And don't forget the Nitrogen.
