rooting proplems

sorry guys, i bet every is sick of this question but i need help.
HOW LONG DOES A CUTTING TAKE TO ROOT.

I have 2 clones in rockwool in a propergater, they have been in there for two weeks but still no roots, i give them 18 hrs light and plenty of water . is there any thing that i am doing wrong

i wouldnt over water them i usauly mist mine every couple o days and let humidity do its thing

It should rooted by now after 2 weeks. If the plant is still alive and not withering then leave it without watering, only mist the leaves and cover it up with a dome or a large transparent container, leave it under some soft light (not MH, prefer CLF or Fluorescence tubes) for it to root. Also have some air circulation to aid the root growth process.

I'm not sure how your setup is, but after a week if mine haven't rooted I take the humidity dome off to encourage root growth. If they can't get the water they need through leaves, they will try to grow roots to suck it out of the medium. I don't know if you've even been using a dome though. Hope it helps.

good question snowbender... I second that.. what are those temps?

my clones usually root in about a week,, some take a little longer. I only use a little water in the nursery with a dab of rhizotonic (from canna) I believe that if you give the little clone everything it needs to grow,, tehn it will, and not grow roots, 'cause it is getting everything it needs.. sometimes you need to give it just a touch less than what it needs, so it will search for the rest..
