why do seed banks refer to their seeds as hemp seeds?

What seeds are you referring to? Their actual Marijuana seeds or cbd ?

When you order cannabis seeds the packages say hemp seeds. I'm wondering if its just to cover there butts because they shipped them or what.
Alot of packaging says novelty or such for places with strict laws forbidding sales of seeds. Happy growing friend.
Hemp seed is not illegal. Its actually a proper term. Hemp = cannabis sativa its not illegal until the THC value is over 0.3% (USDA). So a seed is well under that value and legal to ship. Same with mushroom spores.
