Seed germination

I have some seeds that been in water for about 30hrs now I forgot to put them in a paper towel and bag last night I checked them this morning and the all have tap roots sprouted so my question is . . . Is it still necessary to do the paper towel and bag thing or just go straight to soil ? Please help trying to do everything right this time

I always go from water to medium. I don't like handling/moving seeds with exposed tap roots.

Now I gotta run out and get some dirt last time this process took about 4 days

I am not sure at all the few grow attempts I did all came from the paper towel deal and worked for me but I have never had them germinating so quickly for me before

Put the seeds in a wet paper towel until you get back, don't want it to dry out.
