Germination

so I put 3 seeds diff breeders in wet paper towels but this time put them in ziplock bags. I also put them ontop the cable box. None of them germinated. My thoughts are temps are too high. I normally put in wet paper towels and two plates with no problems. Normal germination in two days

Good morning Amigo. :ciao:
I find temps in the mid 20's c acceptable for germination.
If you higher than that they just cook and become useless.
I find they need air, moisture and some warmth, not heat.
Your cable box probably boiled them in the bag.
If I'm using a zip lock bag I wouldn't seal it.
Let some air circulate I find it helps.
I've been on a 100% streak lately using @Herbies Seeds.
Good genetics help.:thumb:
Take care.

Thanks bill I had the same thoughts. I’m Going back to two saucer method with paper towels.
Seeds are expensive.
I don't soak for any more than 18 hrs in water + h202.
Seeds can drown if soaked too long.
And can over heat if temps aren't controlled properly.
I show a simple process with pics in the beginning of my VIVOHUT thread if your interested.
Good luck with your beans.

Stay safe
