Seedlings & LED

Hey guys,

First time grower with a Phlizon 1200w LED and a 5x5 tent. My plan, to keep it simple, is going to be to grow 4 plants under it. My hope is to germinate in paper towel and transplant into solo cups under a dome.

Would you turn on the Veg light over the dome? And how far away from my light would you put them? Then after how long would you take them out of the dome? Still keep them under the Veg light and for how far again and for how long until I bloom?

Hi Volksball, usuallywhen seedling and germination the plants is very fragile and don't need too much lights, so I guess only the veg bottom will work. As to the hanging distance, as I don't know their lights, but for most of the led grow lights, the below recommendation will work!

- During seedling: above 24'' (24~30'', some can do above 30'')
- During vegging: 18~24''
- During flowering: 12~24''

Thanks! I think I'm leaning away from the LED now. Thinking HID or CMH. Ask me tomorrow and that may change. So many choices. Ha.
