A search of a van Saturday yielded a cornucopia of marijuana, cash and precious metal, Sequim police said.
Jeffrey Paul Beadle, 52, of Sequim was booked into the Clallam County jail Thursday for investigation of delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana) after being arrested by Officers Kori Malone and Rick Larsen.
The arrest came from a Sequim police sting, where informants made three purchases of marijuana from Beadle in June, said Sgt. Dave Campbell.
Beadle, who was in Clallam County Superior Court Friday, was charged with three counts of delivery of controlled substance (marijuana).
His bail was set at $10,000.
But on Saturday, officers served a search warrant on Beadle's van and another booking charge of possession of a controlled substance was added.
No bail has been set on that charge.
Impact on sales
With the help of Sequim police's K-9, Titus, officers allegedly found about 2½ pounds of suspected marijuana, more than $4,000 in U.S. currency, more than 25 troy ounces of silver, numerous rare coins and used drug paraphernalia.
``This is going to result in further charges,'' Campbell said, who added that the estimated value of the drug is more than $10,000.
Of the seized marijuana, eight ounces were bagged for sale, Campbell said.
