Should I change my set up

I have attached a picture of my current set up.

My 4' x 4' x 6 ' tent is in an aircon room set at 24 deg C. The problem is that I live in a very hot climate at the moment where the outside days are around 32 C with 70% humidity, so if you open the door, it will warm up easy.

My tents temp sits around 27 C during the light cycle and 23 deg during dark.

My exhaust fan and light are on the same timer and when I come into the room in the morning before the light is on, there is a definite smell, whereas when the light and fan are going there is not.

So here are my questions.

Should I change my set up and have the inlet going straight to the Cooltube then out and have a separate exhaust connected to the carbon filter??

I use the carbon filter at the end of the line just before it leaves the room , or after the light tube in your case.

I would also buy a fan speed selector and use a low speed setting for night venting, Plants transpire water while sleeping especially once bigger.

edit:
Although .. for you it will be better to vent the light with straight outside air , that way you can vent less from your air conditioned room keeping it cooler.
