So I already had to harvest one plant sooner than I wanted due to high humidity, but this one isn't anywhere near how bad that one was being affected by it. So my question is, with the hairs turning dark red/brownish should I harvest now or wait a few more days?
You need to get a magnifying glass and examine the trichomes(crystals) up close.
If there are still clear trichomes then it's not ready. Mostly cloudy trichomes means sativa head like high, more Amber trichomes means more indica like body high.
I know about looking at the tich's, but i was reading somewhere last night someone was saying that you can go off of the color/look of the pistils if you didnt have a microscope.. Ive seen several pictures/videos that show sometimes when the hairs turn dark brown bud rot could be sitting in.. which is a reason I had to harvest my other plant ( one of the colas had rot starting) I just dont want to lose what I do have already lol
