Very nice, well done. Still impressed by the 1 lb yield. I think I might grow more Papaya than I planned.

What latitude are you at?, and is the Papaya topped?

Yes I topped & trimmed all my plant’s last year I actually put the wire up early and threaded the branches through the cage I have had issue with big plants falling over the LST into the wire eliminated most of that issue.
Zone 5 North America Map
Latitude similar to Toronto for instance last chance of frost is mid to late may

I also had problems with big plants falling over, I'm gonna try a combination of chicken wire caging, trellis netting and HST/super cropping to reduce the height of the plants because my tall plants got whacked over in heavy winds.

You've probably got better growing conditions than me although I get to put my plants down a month earlier as frost is less of a problem here at 38°S.

Falling over in the wind has been a huge issue for me too. Theres nothing I hate more than having to prop them up and try to tie sticky branches full of bud. HST, Trellis and Caging will make a huge difference I found the earlier you start doing so the better she will stand up to the end.
My summer line up this year will be all new outside.

Liking the Cheese for sure, I grew the original 1989 cut of Exodus Cheese this season and she sure is stinky.

Hello Phillybonker
I enjoyed the Papaya it was a plant I grew from seed. The reasons it has been culled from the roster is simply a numbers game. I can only keep so many strains and I didn’t feel it was the best phenotype the strain as a whole had to offer. I replaced it with a variety I enjoyed more. I still have a very large bag of Papaya I intend to use for bubble hash. How it held up was ok It did finish before anything else but PM is a real problem for me and it was covered in PM just like the rest so not exceptionally resistant but it grew a solid 1lb plant. Shy of doing mass grows and selecting the cream of the crop seeds are a crap shoot I have been leaning more towards using clones I still keep the mums I want to grow again just more consistent quality and less trials. I have a TangieCookies phenotype that did show PM resistance and I enjoy the end product more therefore it is still in my mum tent.
Any more questions please feel free to ask and I hope my review helps. I can pull out some buds and share pics if you wish.
Happy 420!!
Just got another question, was the odor low, medium or intense?, and is it safe a assume it smelt more like fruit than cannabis?
The main reason I want to grow Papaya is for stealth reasons, I can't have my plants smelling like weed.

Of the strains I grew that summer GrandpaStash was the most aromatic the Papaya has fruit like undertones so to speak but certainly smells like weed. It was reasonably subtle as far as lv of odour goes I did not notice it over the others.

Cheese Breath catching up to the rest of the tent

Cloner has had some issues I lowered my light back down and stopped misting to raise humidity and my clones are rooting better again such a fine line between rooting and just not rooting anytime soon.

I have my closet temp set to 74F and lights are 18/6 Ive tried raising and lowering temp this seems to be the sweet spot. 300ppm 5.7ph seems to be good higher than 350ppm I found they were slower to root however other factors were at play.
Happy 420 to all Im 2-3 weeks away from putting plants outside I cant wait for risk of frost to be over!
Happy 420

Tents a mess dont even want to talk about it stretch was insane in dwc height issues like need an extra 3 feet of head space stretching didn’t super crop earlier and not enough control over canopy.

Outdood looks good though

Good year this year minimal PM using silica and citrus spray along with lost coast spray.
Weights to follow after cure.

Still have not finished trimming to give a weight but the bigger girls are damn near 2lbs and the smaller ones over a pound. The clones I started outside in early july which is 6weeks later than the rest actually grew well and had less issues than the ones I rushed early on. I maybe onto something this year will not be rushing to start spring clones dont need 2lb plants simplifying my grow.
Happy New Year to all
