Soil from scratch?

Another two died today, I'm left with the two SSH, and 12 Afghanis.
the funny thing is the ones which were not on rooftop and didn't have to bear the winds, are the recently dead two.

sorry my english sucks a little.

they died most probably because of wind.
the SSH ones are in my mix, doing fine. very healthy grow.
but the Afghanis have weak stems, and their soil mix is a little different from the one I posted earlier.

I mentioned the SSH mix in this thread (the table).

soil mix of the Afghanis is as follow :
Coco Coir - Peat moss - Cow Manure - Perlite : 8-5-3-3 (volume proportion)
Additives : Seaweed, Gypsum, CaCO3, 50 grams per 10 Liters of soil.
Banana peel : had only ~20 gr for the whole mix of ~40 Liters fina lsoi.
Also, I added ~ 1 Liter of clay to the final mix ( 1L per 40L)

About my Afghani seedlings, probably the weak stems are a result of this little amount of banana peel (no sufficient K). :hmmmm:

P.S. when I dumped the soil in the pot of the dead seedlings, it had a bad smell. (rotten ?)
probably too much peat moss, or too wet.

That is too little perlite to air out the soil. I had that too in a pot without perlite

This thread is not dead my friends.

So much to say about what I did to plants.

Anyway, I pollinated my SSH plants (both happened to be female ;) ) with pollen from Pure Afghani males.
All flowers were pollinated.

Now I'm not sure when is time to harvest my seeds. the little sacks on flowers are burst because of seeds (see photos)
Is it a sign of a good time to harvest and dry plants and dry them with the seeds still inside ?

You need to wait at least 4 weeks from pollination, just get them to the end of the cycle.
