I have a small area the attic. I am growing Purple Grizley (Auto Flower), and White Rhino (Regular). I have 2 led ful spectrum lights. 1 is 1,000 watt and the other is 1500 watt, I am using home made Super soil. I start by filling the bottom of the pot 1/4 of the way with 1/2" PH neutral River rock. (This makes for amazing drainage) Then I mix My compost and perlite at a 70 to30 ratio and fill up all but about 3' from the top. Then i take the germinated seeds that I have been growing in my Clone/germination room, where I keep them under 90 watt CFL aquarium and grow tubes 4' long and 4 bulbs with s cycle of 18 hrs on 6 off. I then go upstairs with the 16 oz Solo plastic cup and the young plant at least 4 nodes. I make a good size hole in the middle of soil and turn the cup upside down with my hand over the top and gentely place the root ball in the centerand push the soil in to fill the empty space around it . For the first 2 weeks I feed with 1/4 strength Nutrients (Fox Farms Grow Big) and soak the plant every other day, the light cycle is 24 hrs on. At about 7 weeks into the grow I slowly decrease the light time to get to start flowering. (It has been my experience in the past when I have just dropped from 24 hrs to 12 and 12 in one shot, I got Hermies). The first reduction is to 22 hrs on 2 off, 4 days later I will go to 20 on and 4 off then 5 days later will be at 16 on 8 off, then finally another 5 days be at 12 on and 12 off. Even thopugh I am using auto flower I just like to keep in good pratice. And I had another breed in there as well that was not auto flower. White Rhino In the Pictures the white Rhino is on the right. The White Rhino is still there but I have harvested The auto flower in late April and have 2 more will be ready in 3 weeks or so.
