I just saw this. Looks like the guy was convicted because someone used his cell phone number. He said he'd lost the phone a year(?) before. So he's going to be executed next week. He's trying to get some kind of legal action, apparently wants access to evidence he wasn't able to get during his trial - like phone records.

Only he doesn't have a lawyer, so... he's probably going to be executed next week. And I thought it sucked to be poor in my country.

I spent a month working in Singapore back in '96 without weed. Weird place. English is the national language and everyone is fluent in it, though the majority of the population are of Chinese decent. Porno is illegal, prostitution and alcohol are legal. Drop a cigarette butt on the ground or tag something with spray paint and they beat you down with a cane stick. The death penalty for drugs was well known then as it is now. Hotter than hell 365 days a year and it drizzles every morning.
