super cropping?

what exactly is it? I top all my plants but now i hear super croping. Is this to help in yeild or is it to minimze shoots and focus on the main colas? If anyone could shed some light on this subject, that would be great. Im always willing to try new thing to improve the quality of growing!~

it works great in veg to keep canopy level and more bud sites but also works in flower if the height is and issue to keep the colas under yer hood, peace!

DF I understand completely now. thanks or the help, and im going to try out about half of my plants maybe just to do a side by side comparison.
