Transplanting rooted clones from soil to hydro

I have several rooted clones that are doing very well. They are in small red party cups and are out growing those containers. They are also in soil plugs. is it possible to transplant them into hydro? If so how would I do that? I saw a similar post regarding seedlings but figured that since these are rooted clones that different rules may apply.

Rinse every last bit of soil possibe from the root system and then stick em into the hydro....

You treat the clone like a seedling. The same steps apply. Rinse off the soil. What you do next depends on what system your growing in. Ebb and flo using hydroton you can probably just place them in the hydroton. If your using NFT your going to need to get them into rockwool or a net pot maybe full of hydroton. What type of set up are you running?
