Two employees at a local breakfast spot face drug distribution charges after accepting delivery of a package containing 16.5 pounds of marijuana.

According to a search warrant affidavit, police seized the package containing the marijuana and sent an undercover officer to deliver it to the intended address - Charlie's Cafe at 1800 Granby St. Justin Lockwood accepted the package, which was addressed to Robert Lamont Jordan.

The marijuana was worth about $75,000, according to the search warrant. The delivery happened last week.

Both Lockwood and Jordan face charges of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Lockwood, 22, was released from jail Wednesday on a $5,000 bond. Jordan, 27, remains in jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond. He is scheduled for a court hearing in October.
