Langley RCMP are looking for two men who robbed a licensed medical marijuana grow operation.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when two men knocked on the door of a home in the Brookswood neighbourhood, asking the occupant for help with car problems.
The men forced their way into the home – brandishing a rifle and a knife – and overpowered the man, tying him up and covering his eyes.
They then ransacked the home, looking for money, drugs and weapons. They also cut down and took marijuana plants from the garage before fleeing in two vehicles stolen from the victim at around 6 a.m.
The victim was able to free himself and call police.
The first man is described to be in his early '20s, about five foot eight, clean-cut with short blond or bleach blond brush-cut hair. The second man is in his mid-'20s, tall but not quite six feet tall, about 150 to 170 pounds, with dark hair.
The vehicles are a 1990 red GMC pickup truck and a 1996 brown Buick Regal.
