Hey everyone gotta question for ya ... I have this plant that every night around 730 or so the leaves turn upside down... It usually happens when im spraying the under side of her leaves, but tonight I went out there and her leaves were all flipped over opposite of each other all weird like LOL... This plant is very happy and has everything she needs in regards to nutes. All I can figure is she is extremely happy... Any Ideas on this ?

This is how she looks right as the sun goes down.. U can see that all the leaves are turned back over except for one... this is the weirdest thing... The LST was done almost a week ago but she was doing it before I started training her

Stop man, you had me laughing at the thought of your happy plants out dancing in the moonlight and now you show me pictures to go along too much:slide::slide::slide:
HAHA... I feel when I go to bed at night they have a whole night life that I have no clue of... but really the only thing I can think of is she is very happy, she knows that at dusk every night I will come and spray her leaves off and tuck her into bed. She has always been very expressive, even before I put them outside I could look at her to judge how all the other plants are. She has been moving around alot her whole life .. when she was still in a foam cup I could sit and watch her and she would twitch toward the sunlight.

You could be a grower if; you set and watch a plant in a foam cup !
here's the funny part I am as guilty as you are, I will stand at my rear deck window and just stare / watch , I swear you can see these plants grow right before your eyes.

HAHA... I dont know what it is about this grow, but these plants are different than any other I have grew...I took a long break from growing (15 years). I dont remember connecting with my plants like I do now, I'm older now and I think I notice the simple but amazing things now whereas before I did not... This grow has been the best thing for me, these plants are teaching me alot about them and myself. FUN STUFF!!!:goof:

I hear you, I am in a like situation. I have been around grows before some actively some just in the same house, that was 30+ years ago. I never got attached to them, gave them nick names and address them when I enter their space. Now I do all of that and can be found just hanging out in the back yard with the girls, chit chatting a bit, listening to some tunes. I know from studies that I have read ( and we all have heard about ) how plants thrive under human care beyond just water and light. I feel like this is more of a two way street , I care for them while they are growing and they will care for me after harvest. Besides I like them more than most people so why not hang with them

Boy you said it!!! My plants rank up there with my wife and my son... We keep to our self's, dont go out much all my time is spent with my family. And these days my plants are deff. included in the family. we spend 80% of the day out side in the back yard gardening and tending to the plants...Its been a great learning experience for my son (hes 2 1/2)... anyways here are some pics from this morning, the plants are so happy today

Very nice Tree ! although the first few almost had me looking away, it was like child porn. You are obviously ahead of me in the season and looking good. "Growing Forward"

That's hilarious !!!! Thank you, im glad u like :cheesygrinsmiley:. although I have one problem ... I have planted them to close together....DOH!!! any suggestions

Sorry bud, I am a container grower,it's just a matter of dragging them for me. Short of transplanting:rolleyes: the only thing I can suggest is Super-Cropping / LST the heck out of them and get as much separation as you can that way. Sounds like you are in the same boat I am in.

I went back and looked at what you have going on as far as pictures and they do seem to be a little close. Those plants are going to get BIG from what I have read about in the ground grows. Last year I had 6 plants and 5 different strains all on a 10x12 grid, they were within inches of one another at points. About a month or two from harvest a member (sorry can't remember who) " pointed out that my plants were too close together and didn't like each other. Sure enough I went out and looked at my plants with that in mind and you could see it. There were plants that looked like they were trying to attack others and some plants were obviously retreating, it was wild. The point is there might be other factors that you need to consider when trying to decide what to do with your situation.

I have 10 plants in 9 by 5 ft. space LOL what was i thinking? well 4 one i dident figure everyone of them would be thriving i figured at least 4 of them would die... but here we are a month later and there all looking awsome!! ..... i have 2 that are going to have a 7 leaf spread, all the plants I have grew had 5... I dont really know what that means. (Indica?)
