Veg + Nute Question, All-Mix soil?

I've been reading where some growers don't put nutes into their VEG plants. By using high quality potting soil, does that sound good to you experienced growers? (could be why we might be getting nute burn in the veg room!!)

We just switched from Fox Farm Happy Frog to All-Mix imported from Holland. Any one using that and have any comments?
Thanks.....Lucy

I use a allmix soil, by bio bizz.

I find that this soil has every thing a plant needs while in veg but remember what size pots u use determines when your plant runs out of food. At the moment im using 15ltr pots my clones were put in to these as soon a they rooted and I have not feed them for four weeks and only started to feed them when I switched to 12/12.

Anyway to determine when your plants need feeding in smaller pots, wait till u see roots at the bottom of the pot then feed with your fertilizer or transplant to a diffrent pot that's twice the size then there will be no need to feed till u see roots at the bottom of the pots
