VHO Lights

I have read you need a VHO fixture for VHO lights, that they should not be put in an HO fixture. I am having a problem finding VHO fixtures. Anyone know a source?

Yes, you cannot put HO in VHO/vise-verse. What you are looking for is something along the lines of a Sun System Solar Flare T5 VHO. Try and Google "T5 VHO Fixture" and you will be on the right track!

Really? Im looking for 2 bulb 2 foot and 4ft 2 bulb fixtures to use as side lights

The 48" tubes are nice in just "HO", they have more lumen output than 24"HO tubes. If you are looking for supplemental side light, T5 HO would be cheaper to acquire and maintain than VHO.

Yea, I just don't want to buy something I will have to upgrade, it looks like there are not alot of VHO's around, mostly 8 bulb ones. I dont see any 24" VHO bulbs. Ill just go with the HO, I was interested in VHO also because its the same wattage and 50% more light.
