Week 7 Flower: Jaffa Cake

I’d say another week or two. There are still plenty of fresh white pistils poppin.

Do you have a microscope or jewelers loupe?

See how there are no more fresh pistils?
Once they stop producing, start checking your trics. Check out my “Time to Harvest” link in my signature. It has pictures and descriptions of the affects of each stage.

Don’t do it. Few more weeks. ALL the white hairs need to turn brown(die back) and the calyxes will swell so you can clearly see each one. Zoom in on the buds in the picture, they’re almost done but still have a little swelling to go. Notice how pronounced the calyxes are getting.

Are those roots that I see on top of the soil?
Here’s what I would do. Backfill you pot with soil, get those roots covered.

Do a reset “flush” and feed.
Run 3 gallons of straight water, then follow that up with a gallon of fresh full strength nutes at 6.3 pH.

I think you’re in the middle of your bud-swell and that’s a good time to do a soil reset. Wash out all the built up salts and unused nutrients and give them a nice feed afterwards to help push her through the finish line.

Check out my “Holding plants in the darkness” link in my signature. Shit works.
