What is going on with these?

I got 9 cuttings from a friend who has an outdoor grow. 6 survived but they took weeks to root and tried to flower at first under cfls 24/7 on. Now 3 of them are looking very strange. The oldest and the newest leaves look more normal. Ever see anything like this?

The cuttings may have been taken just before flowering, then they revegged, producing those strange looking leaves.

Its your 24/7 as R said, revegged growth is funky looking, but quite branchy from what I heard.

Well, I've never seen anything like that before. They are freaks!! But they are flowering, so who cares

Not sure why they tried to flower. The moms were growing outside in his front yard in a flowerbed. Maybe the cfl's didn't put out enough light for them to think it was day compared to the sun they were accustomed to. I've never revegged a plant and didn't know they could look like that.

Just as it takes a while for a plant to flower after the hormonal switch has been flipped, it also takes a while to stop flowering after the hormonal trigger (short day) is no longer there. This is true for cuttings as well.

they make for very bushy plants to start with
