When do you sow your seed for Christmas?

Its that time of the year today is Augest 4th so my question is when do you sow your seed for a Christmas Havest to reconize thanks for food health and prosperty...

First time around im thinking maybe Aug 10th
Include flush and 7 days drying in your figures, the time to sample and place in the jars on christmas.

Assuming this is an indoor grow, otherwise you are a bit late:

3+ weeks veg, depending on the strain
8-12 weeks flower, depending on the strain
7-10 days for a flush
7-21 days drying and mini-cure

As you can see, it depends a lot on the strain you choose. The earlier you start them, the bigger they can be before you flower them. Maybe choose a shorter flowering strain (~8 weeks) so that you can veg them a bit longer. If these are for gifts, you may want to consider curing for longer, if possible.

If I were you, I'd plant them ASAP, but this depends on your grow space too.
