When does nute burn first show?

I am wondering, after a feeding, how long does nute burn take to show (if you overfed of course).

not very long. a few hrs at most. watch the leaf tips. also if you hardly burn them the burn may disappear, but it depends if you catch it within a few hrs and fix it quickly and completely.

Ahh, well that's good to know. I guess the burn on those plants really was from the topping then - given that it developed a few hours after topping and over 36 since I fed. Lights on soon...I have been monitoring the plants so closely I haven't noticed that they actually have grown alot. I looked back at the older pics, and the Mako, the one with the most burn, has really exploded...funny I didn't notice.

yea it definitely could have been an adverse reaction to the topping especially if it was a large amount. haven't had that happen personally but I usually don't top because I minimize on veg time.

Yes, it was definitely a large amount. The plants had 5-6 nodes, and I topped leaving only 2...
