When to add nutes to clone machine?

I've been using clear water, no nutes on my clones for almost 2 weeks, at some point they are going to need nutes.

This is the simple spray tub type and the roots are just now starting to show.

What level of nutes should I use?

I have the GH Flora 3 pack setup. The clones were cut near the end of the veg cycle.

I'm thinking I should use the standard GH veg cycle mix.

I would advice 50% strength as soon as you see new growth, then gradually increase to full strength when the plant hits four nodes.

I think I'll get these into some 16oz drinking cups with soil pretty soon then.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to going into soil with small roots, they look to be from 1/4" to about 1". I've seen some go into soil right away, but the store bought clones I did before were in rockwool and had much more roots.

They'll end up in soil anyways, just want to know if you put them in too soon, does that hurt the plant?

I've had them wilt on me and would've died had I not put them back under a dome. I wait until there's over an inch of visible root.

Ok, I'm probably there at the 1 inch root mark now, so I should be ok to move to soil?

Edit: I just checked a few roots, they are WAY over 1 inch!

I'm going to get some of those 16oz cups!

Yeah, but keep an eye on it. If it wilts, put a dome over it for another 24 hrs.

Ok, I've got the 18oz red plastic drinking cups and I think there's enough soil left over to fill them, so they'll have nutes soon!

I noticed 2 leaves have died off, but otherwise they look great.
