Why Grow Hydro?!

okay so if u look at my pictures u can see im used to growing in soil, im just wondering why grow hydro? whats so much better than soil? or why is it worse? i heard maybe you'll get more yield? let me know whats up? why? why? why?

Faster growth, bigger plants, more yield. The plants don't have to search for nutrients because the root system is fed directly by the reservoir.

getting rid of all that soil each grow and buying new bags can be a big messy pain in the ass.

on the other hand, soil grown tastes better than hydro to me.

* pH and nutrient levels are simple to measure and maintain
* significant reduction of soil pests and diseases
* greater spacing efficiency due to smaller roots
* concentrated feeding reduces water waste
CONS:
* Cost - Intial cost is higher

* gardener's greater need for technical knowledge

i like hydro it took me 1 month a 15 days to get 5 oz on one plant alone but depends on your setup ive never grown with soil so i cant say much about it just that hydro is quicker

I've seen noobs kills plants just as fast in both environments but like Droopy said..."with experienced growers, they are both outstanding."
