Hi all,
I'm Ellie Strand, a nurse practitioner and medical cannabis user until: 1) I moved from CO to WI in 2005 and 2) I became disabled with a neuroimmune disease and fibromyalgia in 2008. (Medicinal use previously was for neuropathic pain.) I'm a member of Americans for Safe Access and leader of an Action Group in northern WI. We have many hurdles to jump before we can even get a bill out of committee--much less have a chance to let the Republican legislature vote on it.
While what once was one of the most progressive states in the nation continues its decline into an ALEC-led, Tea Party black hole, I'm accumulating ideas.
