the site says 89,000 lumens,

the one I got from HTG says 95,000. and several others they carry say the same. More expensive, but still more lumens than 89,000

Of course, the wavelengths that rank the highest on the lumen-scale only appear to be the brightest (to the human eye, which is what that scale is for), and aren't much use growing plants (ie, green light) - so a bulb that is designed for growing/flowering would almost certainly produce less lumen than another bulb.

IOW, you cannot go by lumens.

True that man! Peoples perception of lumens is a real weak argument. Its like my car has 9500 horse power but only 2-wheel drive! My AWD subie will walk all over it with only 400 ponies.

Yeah, but how much torque does it have? And how low in the rpm range? and how wide is the range before it drops off?
