Re: 5 Gal DWC system $100 I am not very well with forums yet. I lost the link & found it finally. The plants stayed in constant stress with deficiencies. No pictures were ever worth taking. I found the DWC to be a constant headache. I ended up 2 weeks ago transplanting into 50/50 potting...

I think its just the luck of the draw. I just got 5 OG and 5 Blueberry and they just barely cracked open and rotted. Ive always had great germ rates even with random seeds back in the day. So now I will try a single seed method from herbies. Ill post results

.72 gpw is still very good. You have a nice system and im sure that number will only increase. Are you going to start a new journal?

Re: 5 Gal DWC system $100 Here is the catchup on my records. Week 1/ germ 3- 17 peat block, tray w/ lid, 0ppm water Week 2 3-24 DWC w/ 4 comp. lid 55%RH 75 deg. add hydrotone 4 tsp nute. (wasnt good) add co2 3-30 lower nute 400% to 1 tsp reflectors and fan install (weak stems) Ph hit 4.0...

In the picture it seems like the very tip is yellow so that makes it hard to tell. So i do think that your best bet is to use water only for a week or so KNOW that your nute levels are very low. But there is the chance that its defficient and adding only water would make it worse but I doubt it...
