Thanks for the "before and after" pruning pix Doc. I need to learn more about pruning - any favorite tutorials out there? :Namaste:

Crumble up some dunks and sprinkle them onto the surface of your soil before you water sometime. I'll bet that does it. :Namaste:

Toss in a few red wigglers to keep them company? According to everything I've read springtails are a part of balanced soils. I'm sure they could overpopulate and upset the balance, but unless you're seeing something really scary I'd leave them alone.

I'm with you 100% Doc. I was a skeptic, but my HPS fixture is in the attic now. The savings in cooling costs are significant. It's opened up an opportunity to augment CO2 in my particular setup that I'm experimenting with as well. I like lights that daisy chain too, especially smaller LED...

The new lights are always interesting. I'm even more interested now that I've tried a 300W Platinum and like it very much. About time to up the ante and reserve the 300 for vegging? I'll be very interested in how you like it Doc, and thanks for working so hard. :goodjob:

Sounds like you are finding positive addictions Sue, always a wise choice. btw - I used to race bicycles. Impact has realigned me. I no longer feel the need for impact. It did teach me how to fall well, headstands are no sweat. :Namaste:

Sue - Not all of us are averse to such things. Iyengar Yoga saved my butt (really my upper back, but it's attached to my butt) a few years back, and since then it's made life better in many ways. I'll never make trophy status, but I'm a lot better than I was. And it's not all bad being one of...

Thanks Doc, I understand. I'm not all that sharp sometimes. I'll correct my location, darned politicians keep trying to change my life, but I'm sure they mean well. :Namaste: Wahoo! 1 more post down, only 16 to go. Trying to only post about things I actually know something about is cramping my...

Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Morning Doc, thanks for all the time and advice. I'm probably not worthy of your knowledge but I am sure going to use it anyway. I'm interested in getting a Hi Brix Kit for my next grows. It's taking me longer than I'd like to get to the 50 post minimum, so if there is another way to contact you...

How Do I Store my Harvest to Maintain Quality?

I'd keep it in the jars, but I'd add a 62% Boveda Humidipack to each jar. The rh in a sealed jar will change as the temps change. As temps drop humidity will go up, that's what's relative about it. The Bovedas will reduce these humidity fluctuations. If the jar is sealed well the Boveda will...
