20' x 20' area filled with 4x 4' x 4' tents, each lit by a 1000w HPS. 240 V if you can do it, will reduce amperage by half. 1000 / 240 = 4.16 amps per ballast. No need for false walls for light proofing, and will give you a two foot wide corridor to move between tents. 5-6 5gal pots per tent, you could flower 20-24 plants under 62 watts per square foot.

That'd be your flowering half.

In veg keep 18-27 plants in 3x 4'x4' tents with 6-9 3gal pots per tent, each tent lit by a 400w MH. 1200 / 240 = 5.1 amps for your veg areas lighting.

Then for seedlings, cloning and other propagating get a final 4'x4' tent and light this with a 8x 4' bulb T5. 1.6 amps at 240.

Put those 4 tents in the other half, two of the veg tents on one side, and then the other veg and your seedling tent next to each other on the other side. You could probably shrink that seedling tent down to size since it would probably be pretty cramped in there at that point.

To start it off I'd plant about 60 seeds/clones, 27 in your veg room, 24 in your flowering room. Give the ones in the flower room a 2-3 week veg period or just start them 12/12 for your first small harvest, just enough time to get the ones in the veg room big enough to take 60 clones to start up the next round. Once the first set of flowering ones are done, move in ones from the veg room, and then move the clones you took off them into the veg room, and repeat that cycle.

Just my totally stab-in-the-dark idea of how to utilize that space. Personally I'd probably try to do about half that, and have some tents for pollination and feminized seed making as well. I'd also probably tweak that so that the 400w lights in the veg tents were 600s if you had the elctricity, just to get them bigger in a short veg time.

Check out my grows in my signature with the 315's, loving them. Here is a few pics of my vertical grows. These were grown with stacked 315's bare bulb, tied to screens, yield

Not sure but I think this was either 24.5 or 26.5 zips of smokable buds.

Heh yeah yours was one of the ones I was recalling. Still gotta check out that vertical scrog method. I stole your idea for drip emitters though.

Was that just one 315?

@HayStack is another member I have seen with impressive results with them.

I have seen a lot of commercial growers switching to CMH too, but in an open setting where they have each light a few feet away from each other. They get insane PAR distribution and penetration with CMH, but I think the price is a little high to convince people it's worth it over HPS.

Glad to share with you my friend, anyone for that matter. I am going to try something different this grow on the emitters. Still using 1/4" lines but instead of a 1/4" tee I will be going 1/4 x 1/4 x 3 mm. One the 3 mm end I will as a very short piece of 3 mm tubing and a 3 mm "Y" fitting. Hoping that it will give me a bet better distribution in these 3 gallon pots. Will post some pics in my Big Buddha Cheese thread when I get it set up, not sure it will work but going to give it a try.
