So I have been scheeming for many years to do this project and after my father died of colon cancer in 2005, I started researching in ernest, the benifits and uses of the mj plant. I am currently running two rooms, one veg and one flower and have the following on the go...

What strain is it?

I am currently flowering 14 Northern Lights No 5 cross Purple Haze and 1 Big buddha cheese plant

Sex: Feminized
Type: Indica & Sativa
Flowering: Photoperiod
Height: Medium
Area: Indoor
Genetics: Northern Lights No. 5 x Haze

Big Buddha Cheese
Parents:
Original UK Cheese backcross X Afghani
Flowering time: Indoors = 7 - 9 weeks
Genetics: Mostly Indica
Sensory experience: Very uplifting high, no ceiling, clear, long lasting.
Smell: Unique, pungent, old skool aroma.
Taste: Very appealing, fruity, DANK!

I am sitting with 34 days of ecstasy/torture until I can harvest my babies
The NL has a flowering time of 75ish days and the cheese is 63ish, but i put the cheesein after the nl to let it veg for the extra time and then flower with the rest of the plants...

I am growing in coco peat and vermiculite at the moment, but want to shift to ebb and flow when I can get to it. Will explain the design of my rooms and how i plan to construct an electronically controlled ebb and flow system, made up of individual cells connected to separate reservoirs.

At the moment, I am running 2x 400w hPS and 5 x 70w MH in the flowering room and I have 2 x 70w Mh and several CFLS in my vegging room, where I am also using a fish tank as a seedingcloning box as well as a tuffy bin I converted into a hydrobox ( at the cost of a tendon in my thumb and three weeks with w\my hand in a cast! But more abt that later maybe...)

I have a very unique situation growing where I do that allows me to run my lights with little or no cooling and as I have most of the cycles set to run at night, the temp stays pretty evenly between 28 and 20 deg celcius

I have also been a\experimenting with the amt of time u need to have ur flowering plants running in the dark to mantain sufficient level for the plants to receive the max amt of light and still keep flowering... I plan to take 4 plants, (I thing any more will be pointless) And have the same res feed eeach plant but run at 13, 14, 15, 16 hours on and see which plants continue into full flower... I will then know how much is too much... :) Then I can see the diff in yeild per plant and diff cycle as well... Fun times :D

I usually water every second day, between 1-2 l with a mix of GHE and a few extras. This will obv. change when I move to ebb and flow. I will go into more detail abt my nutes soon...

Well I hope you can find the photo's I uploaded, there are loads of them, I will try to get to annotating them so they make some sense...

subscribed. i have read that some indicas can flower under 14 hours of light and 10 hours of darkness. if you want plants to harvest I would use 12/12 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness for your flowering light schedule.

I have happily used the 12/12 flower cycle many times, but my intention with this experiment is to take 4 clones treated exactly the same, running in the same res on a ebb flow system, then take a 13/11, 14/10, 15/9, and 16/8 flower cycle and run each plant in an isolated cubicle and same light. i will then be able to see if/when some of them either fail to flower, or start to flower (as the 36 dark hours would have built up a supply of the chemical that makes them flower) and then revert to veg when the chemical level falls due to too much light... Mostly i want to see the impact the extra light will have on the final yeild on each plant that continues to flower...
