Day #25 into flowering: pics included

Hi guys,
Hope you’re having an amazing weekend.

I would like to share some pics on my on going cycle. This is my 3rd time growing and I love every minute of it.

I grow in a 2*2 under 5 Cree LED lights. I keep my babies in soil and I feed them Dutch Pro nutes. Strain is blueberry by Dutch Passion.

Please share your thoughts on looks and if you have any comment.

Unfortunately 2 is really the limit. I think that next time I’ll go for one big fella. I guess you could create 1 monster rather than 2 fairly big.

You're right -when they're packed in there they can't really
spread out like they want to, so I think that limits the plant's potential-
having to keep them compact like that,the light has trouble penetrating very far below the canopy,and even more so when the buds start to fill out-I'm considering just doing 1 next
time-1 monster instead of 2 "pretty good" ones...

I find it easier to get the big yields with just one plant but its not easier looking after the beasts. One in my profile was spanking 15 litres a day for most of it and she only had a 20L res.that gets stressful pretty wuick lol. Miss a day and youre done for.

couldn't agree more. my biggest fear tho is that it'll turn out as a dude and then you got nothing as a backup.

I find it easier to get the big yields with just one plant but its not easier looking after the beasts. One in my profile was spanking 15 litres a day for most of it and she only had a 20L res.that gets stressful pretty wuick lol. Miss a day and youre done for.

I guess this is NOT soil, so yes. you have to keep your eye on this girl like crazy. one of the downsides in a non soil medium. may I ask what this beast yielded?

Thanks mate. She was 22oz. 5oz was a little cheeky but no complaints lol.
Not bad for an auto but I reckon I could get closer to 30 these days. Gonna try it next run cos that journals a bit old now and stopped getting me free seeds haha.
Won't be starting till march though cos I've fucked my timing up and snow season is approaching. Takes about 115 days for one of those.
The obvious solution for my feeding issues would be to use a bigger reservoir but I only use nutriculture NFT res' and the bigger ones don't fit up my attic hatch I'm gonna link 2 Res together next time so should be able to push it a bit more.

Ok. Wasn't sure if a 3rd could get in there or if 2 was pushing it. Getting ready to buy one but getting an idea how big to go.

That's an auto mate. 18/6- 20/4 the full grow. Usually takes around 7 weeks from seed to throw pistils though so technically veges for about 6 weeks.

It's impossible to guess yield from a picture unfortunately mate. Some forums do guess the weight competitions and a 10oz plant will get valued at 5-20oz from even experienced growers .
I grew that one using 2 x old first model mars 600s. 480w altogether of the world's cheapest, most useless blurples ever invented
It's all in the system mate. I use nutriculture gt205 NFT reservoirs. Roots grow in nothing but fresh air with half a fluid ton of water per day flowing over them from a recirc pump in a 20L Res below the grow shelf.
Sounds techno but it's a pretty basic, £30 plug n play system. Don't even need an air pump

These things mate. All the bits ready to go.
Just start a plant in a rockwool till it's rooted up. Takes about 2 weeks then stick it on the shelf. Fill the Res. Empty it once every couple weeks. Top it up if it gets low. Pretty simple like. Only hard part is keeping up with daily feeding once they hit bloom.
Drink 15L per day so can't miss a day or the pump will run dry and blow.
