Out here in Cali we use certain websites to check the prices. I don't want to mention their names on this forum but just google dispensary finder or something like that and you can see the prices here in Cali. I don't know if it will help you much being in TX but at least you can see if your getting ripped off or the prices are fair. I know here in Cali the prices have come down quite a bit and its pretty easy to get an 1/8 of top shelf for 35-45$ and oz of top shelf from 200$-300$ depending on your source. The best option is growing your own which can bring the price down to about 2-4$ a gram
