Blue Hawaiian#3 4" she still has two yellow leaves
light distance is 24" I hope the distance doesn't cause severe stretching

Don’t fret over the bottom leaves turning yellow... they’re usually first to go anyways, they’re lowest to the dirt, and farthest away from the light. As long as the rest of the plant looks good, take it with a grain of salt! They look happy! :thumb:

I did fed and topped the girls yesterday,
1 mil superthrive
2 mil Sensi A&B
1 Large scoop of Azos.
Can anyone share with me how to balance out the plants? I'm afraid the smaller ones won't catch up with the larger ones. I'm going to rotate the plants from the current order to put the smaller ones directly under the light.

Great videos man!!
I only ever top once, IMO it’s all that’s needed.

now you’ve got the trellis above the plants, you let the plant grow into the net, then tuck/bend over into the next hole, creating aneven canopy. Once the trellis is about 80% filled in. Then flip to flower, and let them all stretch! :thumb:

I do have a question though. How do you properly use a trellis? I have used them on my tomato plants to make them grow vertically.

That screens not really tight enough to do much good. The idea behind scrogging is making one level canopy so all the buds think they are the apical node. If the screen flexes too much the plants won't stay where you want them.

The plants aren't supposed to grow vertically through the screen, they grow horizontally under it, ultimately you only have the buds sticking through at the ends of their branches.

Conversely a horizontal trellis grow is the opposite, any time you see someone using two stacked nets its not a true scrog. It's a horizontal trellis. You use the nets to help the plant grow wider but you allow them to grow through the nets rather than under them.

Some plants like to continue stretching throughout the flower cycle and they will really jack up a canopy. Case in point my GDP 4. Everyone else sat down when they started flower, she just keeps going.

I gotta figure out how to tighten it, because if i pull to tight it just bends the pvc pipe. Tha ks for the info @TurboBucket

I was able to tighten the trellis! I hope it stays tight. This grow has been very smooth. Tjhe girls are looking very healthy, I havent had any issues (knock on wood):dude-knocking:. Its been 15 days since the last feeding. Shout out to @TurboBucket thanks for the info on the trellis/scrog.

After this grow im going to reinforce my tent. I think I'm going to make another trellis kinda like this for the Giixer grow.

Nice. Harvest day would scare me. Although I guess you could just cut the net up so it may be kinda nice. I think I'm going to move to individual mobile screens. I want to be able to trim them better but I'm limited on floor space. If I can remove them from the tents it will help me get rid of all the popcorn easier.
