How soon after you plant the seeds do you turn on the lights?

I have read online from different websites with a few saying lights on right away and some that say wait a few days. What do you do? I soaked the auto seeds like 10 hours then put it in coco coir with a half water bottle on it for humidity in the tent on there.

I put mine in dirt and I figure that its dark enough for them. I just stick mine in the tent with the others.
I want them to get light as soon as they emerge.

After I plant my seeds into a Solo cup, I tape a plastic sandwich bag over the top to create a dome. I then toss it in my tent with my other plants. They really don't need light though until they break ground.

I use a small CFL like 15w 6500k on a mini (cheapo) greenhouse setting on a heatpad. Soon as I see a root into the fabric pot and under normal grow lights at 30 inches away.
