Hi guys.. new grower here... just switched first run to flower, and also successfully cut and planted clones for next run.

I'm looking to switch nuitrience line, did my first on fox farm trio... but one bottle is no longer avail in canada due to bat guano. So I'm looking to switch to another line, something not to involved... simple as possible - and cost effective... hoping for a 3 or 4 part system.

I’m on my first grow and am using Green Planet Hydro Fuel Bloom A & B, and Massive Bloom in 500ml bottles. The A&B are in 2 separate bottles and were $30Cnd total together. Massive Bloom was $30 and is a single bottle formula. Seems to be working well so far, 37 days into flowering.

When you are ready for DIY start learning about EWC tea. Making it yourself is much better and quite satisfying. The first link in my sig explains a lot. The second is a basic recipe.

I have a complete recipe in the Journal on possibly page 12 I think. I only feed tea or nothing and have the soil right.

Running a live active composting medium takes all the pH problems and over feeding and underfeeding issues away. All you really have to worry about is temps and humidity.

But you have to want to Do it yourself.

I enjoy it making the tea but I am an idiot. There are cool contraptions to build to make it less work. Look into making a vortex brewer. Instant Compost tea with little effort. Liquid gold for the plant fresh and very active...not from a bottle sitting on a shelf.

This gal was a clone that was 1 week in soil then into bloom. I gave 1 dose of tea only to kick off the microbes and feed water after that because the soil was correct.

This is what goes in the tea and is explained in the journal.

This plant was feed only tea.

After you buy the stuff in bulk the first time you are set for a long time.

Works in Hydro too if you ever try. Good luck!

Easy, cheap and effective is Jack’s Classic 20-20-20 or Citrus Blend for veg and Jack’s Bloom Booster for flower. Along with CalMag and I add silica.

Jacks is $15 for 1.5 lbs. a dose is 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, CM @ 4ml per gallon.

Doesn’t get much easier. I gave up the FF trio in favor of Jack’s. Works in hydro too.

Here’s a few growing with Jacks
