Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Hello everyone, my assistant reply here for I were out in the past days. I was back and my assistant told me AZ2000. Today I read some information he posted under my topic. I hope you are not Kyle, Az2000 :). I want to be friendly to everyone including our competitors.

I read advanceled VS Topled mars II 400w on advanced led website. I just want to say thank you, thanks for advertising for us on your website, and I believe people will google our company before they order from u and they surely have their own judgment. I believe they are wise. :) For me, I will never buy things from people who belittle their competitors because I know if one company exist, it must have its own advantages. if someone want to take advantages from belittle their competitor, I believe they are in bad situation now. If I bought from them, I will get into trouble. I just do not want to waste my money and my time.

Have a nice weekend all:)
By definition, a light without reflectors will have more diffusion and less penetration. That doesn't mean it's "terrible." But, a tradeoff.

Here is a comparison Advanced did between their Diamond 3w (with reflector) and a Mars II 5w (without reflector):

DS 200 LED Grow Light vs TopLED MARS II 400

The parts showing coverage at different distances, and uMol is interesting. You can have the Mars closer to the plant which could be an important factor for someone with limited vertical space. But, the uMol is higher for the Advanced even when the Mars is closer.

The comparison was done by Advanced. It looks objective. For example, the Mars runs cooler at < 50% max wattage (compared to the Advanced running at > 50%).

I forgot the Ak47 cola...

PS these were all vegged under the 96x3w

My name is not Kyle, and I don't work for any light maker/seller. I'm generally very positive about your lights. As mentioned a few days ago, I don't like how the spectrum/ratio isn't published. But, I don't like that about Advanced either (which hopefully dispels your notion that I am them.).

I also don't like your warranty clause which threatens to withhold warranty service if a buyer talks negatively about your lights. But, I doubt that would affect many people, so it's more a philosophical dislike than anything serious.

I often recommend your lights, that I feel you're a safer and more direct (cost-effective) source than resellers of Chinese made lights. I'll mention my two concerns, but suggest that the price, warranty and public support should outweigh them.

I hope we can stop insinuating things about me. Thanks!

I got a mars 2 1200 flower light. It seems to have a good coverage area, runs cooler than hps and uses less electricity. I have had some setbacks, but my most mature plant seems to have more density under the mars 2 light than I have had under my 1000 watt hps. I am still very happy with TopLED the light has been running well for 6 weeks or so.

I have been using a TOP 144x3w for just over 2 months and I could not be happier.
I think the time has come to think about a second light for a shorter veg tent. (Maybe 2.6' x 2.6' x 5')

I have been considering a 96x3 for veg or maybe upgrading the flower tent to a 192x3 and keeping my 144x3 for veg? I am a bit torn on this choice.

Is anyone aware of any specials or promotions TOP might be running right now or if either of these are in stock in the US at the moment?

Any guidance, ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated! =)

3.66 amps for the 900 at 120 v checked on meter using 438 watts, 4.48 amps for the 1200 at 120 v using formula, guessing the 1200 is using 538 w.
Does anybody know the amps that get drawn from the 900w and 1200w led? I'm tryin to decide how many of which I can use without popin the breaker in my spare room

Correction, I am running a 96x3. =)

Still considering a second 96x3 for a separate veg tent or wondering if anyone would suggest upgrading to a 192x3 for bloom and keeping the 96x3 for veg.

The 144x3 is a bit wide for my tent.

Sativa cat, do you have a bug problem? or are you taking the prevention is best method?
