Mother of Berries, M.O.B. Maine Strain

Week 4 Day 2 Transitional flowering. I hung the larger of my 2 LEDs and doesn’t look like it’s doing much in the tent. Worth keeping up? (I’ve heard more light isn’t always better, always add more light, plants can only use so much light, etc.)

Also, got a bucket for 5 gallon. Asked my landlord my building manager for one and gave it to me no questions asked

Nice grow pal, I started off very similar to you. I used fox farms and HPS and that started the hobby. I had some similar cooling problems when I started and slowly my inventory of grow supplies continued to address each problem as I encountered them. Thank you amazon prime. Also I just wanted to say that the Fox Farms nutes worked great for me, and I had some great buds following a similar feed/water/feed. finishing with water for the last two weeks.

If the light did not bring you temps up then I would think it is only helping. You tent looks to be pretty bright. I do not notice any dark or shadowed spots.

It might add a degree and even then we’re not breaking 80’ F . Question. After noticing this issue I went with 2 tsp of tiger bloom and 1 tsp of cal-mag. None of my other plants seem to be having this issue. I’m really trying not to over nute.

Go talk to @SweetSue about cob curing. She just started talking about it and has provided a lot of information and knows her stuff.
I have been following the cobbing thread since they threw it up or shortly there after! It is exciting stuff to follow. I do not need any all day trips that i cannot control but know some ppl that would love it!

As I inspect the plants. I’m noticing that the plants appear to have harder/denser nugs and heavier. My plant on the left rear seems to be leaning ever so slightly. I’ve been able to run two lights with temps not exceeding 80 unless it’s a particularly hot day then I enhance cooling.

They should only keep getting harder and denser bud! You look to be a good 4 weeks out from harvest. Plenty of time for things to fill in and get plump. Staying under 80 is a big plus, I have hit 84 a couple of times, but then again it has been pretty hot the last couple of weeks!

I’ve hit 84 2x during the whole high heat ordeal. Otherwise on a semi-dark and cool day like today, temps are not an issue. I’m excited to see them fill out.

What I meant by the apparent bud density. Is that the LEDs seemed to create light and fluffy buds but these seem almost rock hard.

That could be strain or light. But if you do not have quite enough light then yes you will end up with fluffy buds. I have grown some sativa dom strains that are fluffy no matter what light I use.

I’m trying to learn absolutely everything about cob curing and was wondering if you had heard of or know anything about this that may not have been made public over with sweetsue. I’ve read 1 - 2 oz is best so that is going to be my range. It’s looking like my yield may be more bountiful than in the past (let’s hope!). I’m going to make sure I know the perfect conditions and all of that. I’d enjoy a deeper, heavier eye. Interested in the concept of chewing (my understanding is that it’s quite palatable (prob read around here somewhere) at the end of the process. I really want to experiment with the jars for deeper fermenting but seems difficult to get answers (not complaining as I know things like this tend to be somewhat obscure). I’ll probablg subject myself to criticism and document the cob thing over with sweetsue (and you get more value out of my posts by being able to see other users content).
