Hi, you can call me xwirecutter. I want to start growing my own smoke. I have never done this. I am an electrican by trade and good with my hands. Just looking for advice and help. I will be lurking around awhile before I even think of starting my first grow. Thanks

enjoy, folks around here are great, make some friends and settle in! you can not go wrong. growing ones own cannabis is not as easy as one would think. the products and neuts. are very different, once youve decided on your setup and everyones is a little different. you can start with all the food and such.
going cheap isnt a good idea. the end result is always the same disappointment. that being said the most expensive isnt needed, at times it would be nice but its not practical. if money isnt a problem, if i were you. experience is your best friend. dont try to much till you understand the cannabis plant. its a weed but at times a picky one! youll get very discurraged by rushing into it. the first step has to be taken just make it a good one and i know you will do fine.
buy a book on the subject jeorge s. has some good ones out there. the knowlege will seperate you from the hardaches that plague a majority of new growers.
good luck, take your time, you dont always have to have the biggest lights to get the big buds. its all a harmony thing. using your area to your advantage will also make you very happy!
