We are both in the noobie boat. I just about to close my 3rd cycle and now it's when I finally starting to under my box and strain. I veg up to 13" by the time I flower im finishing with 21 - 23 " all in a 1 gallon pot. I v tried with a 2 gallon pot but they ate growing bigger than what my box can handle.

That sounds great keeping them around 21"...
I am going to give this notion serious consideration because if I keep my plants low like yours and PeeJay's then I will be wasting more than half the space in my box...
