Testing my new digital handheld usb microscope

Just got my new digital handheld usb microscope and was anxious to try it out. I trimmed a few sugar leaf tips and photographed them.
I'm not so concerned about the trichome situation but rather the image quality. Can this unit do better, or is this about as good as I can expect to get. BTW the plant is an auto Gorilla Cookie.

I'm not familiar with these devices but when you say it's handheld, I would think maybe the biggest improvement you could make is to do your best to stabilise it as much as possible, because that is a heck of a magnification to handhold without incurring some blur from hand movement. These days I have a tripod/monopod but before that I'd even use a stick that I'd hold against the ground to somewhat stabilise my camera holding hand when doing close up pics.
