Tyson's Perpetual Candyshop

I think the best led lights available are top-bin quantum boards. I don't think they'll outperform my HPS, but they could do just as good, which is impressive. The biggest reason to switch for me is heat control/energy bill. It's my next big upgrade, but it'll cost $1500 to swap out all 3 lights so I'm not ready yet.
if so what netting/wire did u use
It's called "snow fence". It is the best scrog net available imo. Nylon nets are a joke.

I like the quantum boards. I have no idea if they compare to hps watt to watt. A 4 panel in a 3x3 @ 480watts would be an interesting fight.

You can get good panels very cheap. I have cheap in veg and flower, would get more if space allowed.

I think with quantum boards, about 550w replaces a 1000w single end HPS. I like that I can control the wattage of the board too so I can run at less power. The coverage area should also be more even with a quantum board. I was gonna get kits from HLG, I'm open to other options, but even still I'm probably not looking to swap until the end of the year. I would like 2 replacements for a 1000w HID, preferably 3 (one extra in the veg spectrum), and an additional replacement for my 600w MH.

Some quick updates:

Gorilla Glue is a week into curing. About half of the hay smell is gone, and a sweet skunky smell is slowly starting to appear. Still a fair amount of chlorophyll taste on the exhale so still a ways to go but progressing nicely.

Cheese is doing great, I've been running at 500w because she is so close to the glass, I'll keep monitoring her and I may turn it up to 750w for half of her day cycle, here and there. She's 27 days into flower and about 88 overall from planting.

Dosidos just got topped this morning, she has the thickest stalk I've ever seen at this stage. She is 35 days from planting, estimating another 24 days of veg to fill out the screen.

NEW BEAN ALERT! Haha, one of my favorite days, bean day! Soaking 2 Liberty Haze seeds from Barney's Farm. They will be planted in the rockwool later tonight.
I soak my rockwool in water that is ph adjusted to about 4.7 Rockwool is extremely alkaline and after about 12 hrs, the water reads around 5.8-6.0 I also add equal parts calmag and flora micro to bring the ec to 0.2

That would be ideal alright. Easyer enviro. control too. Theres defo good ones out there, i think they have one in a give away for Journal of the month or Plant of the month id suggest entering and if u will ud only need to get 2 :ganjamon:

I love all the Blue lab and Co2 equipment it makes things feel very profesional and thats defo the style im looking for. Id Like a dedicated room set up to keep things super clean and make things easyier to clean too. Think my PH Pen is broke, but i use rain water and still use the EC pen for feeds
nice rotations on crops too seems like harvest every month here :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's the plan, about every 40 days or so. It keeps it fun with 3 tents, because there is always something to do and they are at different stages. It also breaks up the trimming and drying because I really only have the space to dry 1.5lb at a time, and the patience to trim half that.

Been a while, so time for an update.

The Cheese was harvested, she looks great, about a week into drying. I did have to deal with thrips around weeks 4-7 of flower. It took me a good week to correctly diagnose, but a combination of potassium soap and neem oil cleared it up.
Dosidos is about 1 week into flowering. She really filled out the net nicely. The potassium soap/neem combo is very alkaline, and I sprayed very liberally. This really slowed down growth for 2 days and even damaged some of the leaves until I realized what was happening and soaked them in 5.8pH spray to counteract. Worked great and within 24 hours you could see a quick turn around.
Liberty Haze is 39 days from seed, she encountered the same issue as Dosidos, with the alkalinity of the preventative spray. Cost her about her days but she's still chugging along. Removed major fan leaves today and planning to top in another day or 2.
I also have 2 white widow seeds soaking, kn preparation of planting tonight.

Nice Cheese chop hope she has that flavour and cheese smell :yummy: i harvested a blue cheese not to long ago and was hoping to get that unique smell i love but as usual, smells like the rest lol
So mine was in DWC too and iv been having burning issues just a lil bit / black ash. but i sat her in nothing but plain water last 2 weeks.
So what did u do for a flush or did u, and hows the smoke?

Spraying when lights are off definitely fixed the problem. I give a very low feed (0.2ec) for the last 3 days. Its hard to pull nutes out of the plant once they are in there, so if youre having burning issues then you gotta cut back in the feed, specifically in weeks 4-7 of flower. I rarely go above 1.0ec for the duration of the grow.

Update:

Spraying with lights off did NOT fix the problem lol. I'm convinced it was the potassium soap and have since switched to spinosad with a bit of neem. Seems to be working well, we shall see.

Dosidos is doing well, having pulled through the soap debacle. It was a bummer it occurred in week 2 of flower as I'm sure it will affect yield but hopefully not too much. This is her today, at day 24 of flower.

Liberty Haze is back on track, she's been in veg the whole time so her yield won't be affected, just cost me more time, not the end of the world. Shes starting to bush out nicely with my training.

White Widow, my sweet baby. WW is one of my favorite strains and this is my first time growing it so I'm very excited. I plan to mainline her so she'll be different from my other grows, but that makes it all the more exciting. Because the other 2 plants have been getting neem treatment, the few remaining thrips must have realized the WW seedling was a better target. She's 16 days from planting, and just got her first spinosad/neem treatment. She's got a tiny bit of damage but shouldn't be much of an issue going forward.

Cheese is done drying and is curing now. Looking at around 10oz which is disappointing for me but between my poor job training due to time constraints and my first ever battle with thrips from weeks 3-7 of flower, I guess that is to be expected.

The extra potassium in the soap must have caused a temporary lock out which made the leaf growth strange.
Thats what I was thinking. The freaking ec of the foliar spray was almost 3.5! And the pH was 9.6 The spinosad has done wonderfully though, Im going to reapply tomorrow.
Nice job dude gonna try dwc next year glad i found ya....
Please do! I was too scared to start DWC right away, so I dabbled in soil and coco. But once I found DWC, I'm not going back, it's awesome. Everybody's got their own style but I love it. It has a lot of nuance to it tho so feel free to ask questions.

It's been a while. I have been growing, just not posting. In the meantime I've harvested Dosidos, Liberty Haze, 3 Run Homer and Strawberry Lemonade (all Barneys Farms except 3 Run which is New420Guy). I have a few pics of each that I'll share before I tell you what I currently have cooking.
