This is on several patches on this plant super skunk the others all look fine. Any thoughts ?

I would think possible aphid damage, but with that much damage, you should be able to see the bugs with no trouble and I see nothing. Even seeing nothing tho, I would cut that whole branch off and get it away from the rest of the plant and/or other plants. Definitely agree with @Roy Growin that it looks bad and that you should check the roots.
ETA: Just wondering if you have noticed any ants on your plant, they will sometimes keep aphids as a herd, like we do with cows, and they move them around sometimes.

Could be a grub in the soil munching/rotting some of the roots, affecting one part/plant only

That's damage caused by Russet mites.They leave a brownish residue right? They're concentrated especially at the flower sites.

Mainly at the flower sites shade leaves look normal
