12/12 for 1 week, timer failed, plants got 18 hours of light

Hello everyone!

Need some help on this big problem I just ran into today.

I went to work today, and I managed somehow to set the light-TIMER to stay ON, and not 12/12. So when I came home, the plants had already got 18 hours of light.

They had been under 12/12 for a week until today when this happened!

Can I just let it be dark till tomorrow morning(6 hours of dark), or should I let it be dark for 12 hours, and move the 12/12 cyclus 6 hours ahead..?

Can I then later fix the cyclus so I can start the 12/12 as I want to?

Could I let them be in the dark till 12 noon tomorrow i.e. 12 hours of dark, then turn the lights on for only 6 hours(and not 12), and then go back to the originally 12/12 cyclus?

Just put it back to 12/12 and it'll be fine.
