Police said they bagged a UPS driver and another employee on an assortment of narcotics charges when they foiled their delivery of a million-dollar shipment of marijuana.

In all, three arrests were made Saturday morning, culminating an investigation done with the company's cooperation that included members of the state Narcotics Task Force and the FBI task force along with local members of the Tactical Narcotics Team.

Police said they intercepted the pot, from Las Vegas, and three conspirators in separate vehicles at 10:50 a.m.

In all, police said they confiscated 136 pounds of marijuana and $3,000.

Further investigation led to additional charges against Hutchinson for possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug situation, according to reports.

Police added that they needed fingerprint analysis to identify the New York suspect and that he was the subject of an arrest warrant for multiple counts of felony narcotics violations in Arizona.

Police reports indicated that Robinson was a UPS driver and Hutchinson another employee who arranged for the driver to deliver the boxes he expected to arrive for himon what was his scheduled day off.
Full details were unavailable Sunday. The police spokesman, Lt. James Viadero, was on vacation and other personnel could not be reached or declined comment.
