1st time grow

this is a clone i got, girl scout cookies in northern california. It gets around 7 hours a sunlight a day, i water it with nutrients every 2 weeks, i want it to start flowering because its getting to big for where it is. Im reading that putting it in darkness for two to three days will start it? what do i then do after that?

Take her in at night and put her in the Dark Closet. Try to keep her at 12 hours sunlight/daylight and 12 hours of darkness till she switches over. Just be careful with the 12/12 schedule. Hate to see her go Hermie......

IMO, It's not necessary to flush until about 2 weeks before you plan to harvest. Washing out the nutes now will rob her of what she needs to produce and support flowers. She's got a long way to go between now and harvest, so needs careful feeding (1/4 strength).
